The thought of winter makes most of us want to curl into a tight little ball under feather duvets, drink hot chocolate and hibernate like bears until the warmer weather is back.  But, there is one thing that keeps us going here at Gurmuki and that is a fabulous warm pair of boots.  Slipping on a pair of leather boots can instantly take an outfit from relaxed and frumpy to super stylish in a matter of seconds. Boots were originally designed to be tough – wearing and keep feet warm in freezing climates.  From ancient Asian dynasties fighting great wars to Inuits living in subzero climates, boots have been an integral part of human evolution throughout history. They can make you feel beautiful and dressed up without changing your outfit. They are one of the best winter accessories a woman can have so we began wondering who were the first people to make this fabulous footwear.  We looked back in time to have a peek at boot fashion through the ages. Have a look at these!
