I absolutely love my South African mocassins! They are so well-made and soulfully crafted. These are more than just shoes. They are thoughtfully made with love. The meaning and intention built in carries such a kind and loving energy. They are the perfect companion to guide you down the right path on your life journey.
These are so well made and so beautiful, just as pictured. They are sturdy and warm for winter, but I also think I will be happy to wear them year-round.
I wasn’t sure of the sizing, so I referred to the official website. I ordered on Takealot for the ease of return in case the fit wasn’t right. I measured my feet and then included an extra cm for a sock, and they fit perfectly. They are the same size as my running shoes and boots, so the sizing is accurate.
They have a very comfortable wider toe box that allows your toes to spread natually as they do when walking barefoot, making them so comfortable whilst protecting your feet from thorns and rocks. I am a female that doesn’t like my shoes to be tight and pointed in the toe box, as it feels cruel to my feet that yearn for barefoot walking, so these are perfect for me. They can be adjusted at the ankle with the leather ties, but I find them very sturdy and comfortable with no need for adjustment. They feel like slippers walking on clouds, but these are shoes that you can go out and walk in. I can put these on in the morning and not take them off until bedtime – a slipper and shoe in one.
I contacted the seller to check on the colour and she was immediately responsive and helpful via WhatsApp. They arrived exactly as pictured and they are beautiful!
Overall, I am extremely happy with these. They are my new favourite shoes and I will purchase more colours in the future.
